TERMS AND CONDITIONS
All EKLA HOME furniture is made-to-order and cannot be returned unless damaged or defective. If damaged or defective, EKLA HOME reserves the right to repair or replace.
A 50% deposit is required by EKLA HOME on all orders, and balance is to be paid before shipping.
New orders will not be scheduled into production until a 50% deposit is received. For orders over$50, 000 NET a bank letter of credit may be required.
All orders are subject to acceptance by EKLA HOME. Receipt of EKLA HOME acknowledgment indicates acceptance of your order subject to EKLA HOME conditions. Please read the acknowledgment carefully and notify us immediately of any discrepancies.
Requests for changes to orders must be made in writing within 48 hours of order acknowledgment. EKLA HOME reserves the right to charge for labor, materials and administrative costs for order changes.
Orders may not be terminated without EKLA HOME consent. Cancellation cannot be accepted after order is in production or materials have been placed on an order.
MERCHANDISE RETURNS POLICY
A written Return Authorization (RA) Form must be issued by EKLA HOME prior to the return of any merchandise due to in-transit damages or defects. EKLA HOME shall not be liable for damages or losses that occur during transit. EKLA HOME reserves the right to offer repair by third parties that are geographically closer to the recipient for potential defects in workmanship.
EKLA HOME is not liable for delay or failure to deliver due to strikes, lockouts or other labor difficulties, failure or delay at other sources of supply, transportation difficulties, accidents, fire, war, riot, compliance with government regulations, acts of God or other causes of like or unlike nature beyond EKLA HOME control. Normal completion of orders is 5 to 8 weeks from receipt of COM/COL. However, since every piece is made-to-order and we have many completely custom pieces that we can only estimate how long they take us to complete, delays to quoted lead times do occur. (The opposite occurs, too. We sometimes complete orders in far ahead of schedule.) EKLA HOME does not offer discounts, free shipping or any monetary concession as a result of production or shipping delays. Unanticipated labor and weather issues arise occasionally that delay production or delivery. Humans make our pieces, not machines. Please try to be patient and understanding if this occurs.

EKLA HOME does not always have storage space for completed orders. If we do, and can store then we will. All pieces will be wrapped. If a customer is unable to accept delivery of merchandise when ready for shipment, EKLA HOME may need transfer the merchandise to storage. All costs associated with storage, including transportation, will be charged to the customer. EKLA HOME will consider such shipments as “delivery to the customer” and all other Terms and Conditions will apply. Customers will bear all risks of damage or loss during storage of merchandise outside of our facility.
EKLA HOME is not responsible for damages in transit. Customer must examine merchandise
upon receipt and note any obvious damage on carrier’s delivery receipt. Any claims against EKLA HOME
for defects, errors or shortages must be made within five days of delivery. Failure to make any such claims
shall constitute full acceptance of merchandise. EKLA HOME reserves the right to repair or replace merchandise based on the types of damages. We do not issue refunds on custom made merchandise. We will always repair or replace merchandise if defective or damaged.
EKLA HOME offers a lifetime warranty on it’s frames. Cushions are warrantied for 7 years from purchase date. During the warranty period EKLA HOME will repair or, at its option, replace free of charge, products that are proven to be defective. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accident, alteration, misuse, tampering, negligence or abuse. Wood furniture is made of naturally variable raw materials. Differences in grain characteristics and color among wood species are naturally occurring variations and are not within the control of EKLA HOME nor considered defects included in this warranty. COM Textiles and COL Leathers are not warranted.
